For a recent project, I put together this proposal. It outlines a mobile application reference architecture. The app allows customers to upload images, then add their own text on top to customize. Users create memes and then share them with friends.
The tech stack uses Amazon Web Services, such as elastic load balancer, api gateway, lambda serverless functions, dynamodb as datastore, S3 for asset & image storage, CloudFront as CDN edge caching, and finally Route 53 to manage DNS. All of this is done inside of a brand new AWS account, to isolate this new service from the parent company projects.
The presentation provides a great starting point, for conversations around cloud architecture. It illustrates building & shipping early stage products.
